Recommendation for Yakumama Restaurant ( Cocina Yaku), Restaurant

Tucked away in the Hostal Yakumama, in El Centro, there's a new restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant aptly named "Cocina Yaku" is a delight. If you're familiar with La Pettie Jardin ( Chef Giovani), Maria Eliza's sister, Cristina, who has worked in the kitchen at La Pettie Jardin, along with her two of her brothers now occupy this space for everyone to enjoy very fine cuisine at very affordable pricing. The space is very nice to enjoy with friends and family. It's a hidden gem and if you're seeking alternative places to try, I highly recommend giving them a try. The menu has a a very good variety of offerings, including organic breakfast with familiar items such as eggs benedict, French toast to mention a few. For lunch or dinner, they offer the full menu to choose from which covers appetizers or entrees for chicken, beef or seafood - all delightfully and elegantly plated and have incredible flavors to savor. Please give them a try and keep in mind opening a restaurant business is a tough venture, especially during what we all have endured. I know you'll enjoy....Breakfast is served from 8:00 am to 11:00 am, then the main menu is served all day until 10:30 pm. They also have a well stocked bar that is open until 11:30 pm.
