Mother and Son Family Kitchen and Orimaki--yum!

This Saturday I had lunch at Orimaki Restaurant with Debby and James, the new Mother & Son Family Kitchen, cooking. I ordered the Donburi Rice Bowl Ten Don with Japanese brown rice and shrimp tempura. OMG! It was the best shrimp tempura I've ever eaten (and I lived in San Francisco, CA, so I've had great Asian food)! These weren't shrimp; they were 4 huge langostinos--like 5". The dish also included cucumber and red cabbage and brown rice, and I added garlic chili oil to spice it up to my taste. I ate as slowly as possible to make it last as long as I could. I accompanied my lunch with a Sake Matcha Mojito and I was in heaven, as well as being stuffed. The lunch was the best $10 I've spent on food in a very long time and I can't wait to go back next Saturday.
