Join us for a day on a beautiful organic dairy farm

To learn about a synchronized, intentional way of farming.

Brujas Huayco Farm - Irquis, Ecuador (1 hour south of Cuenca)

Join us for a wonderful day to walk on the land, learn about our organic farming practices, taste delicious organic milk and enjoy spectacular, sweeping views of the Andes.

The beautiful 45 hectare farm is home to 28 milking cows and 14 young who peacefully graze the land. The well-known Voisin Rational Herding / Grazing technique is the principal practice used to care for the cows and the land. This means that the cows move to a new grazing area every day, only returning to the same spot 45-60 days later, allowing plants to have ample time to regenerate naturally so the cows have healthy, nutritious vegetation to feed on. Micro-organisms from farm soil are also given to the cows as part of their diet to maintain an excellent state of overall wellness. By implementing these holistic practices, we can ensure that the cows are able to live a wholesome life and produce the most nutritious milk possible for you to enjoy.

We’re looking forward to sharing this day with you.
