Today's Special Almuerzo deserves a little commentary. For those who have called me "long-winded", you can move along. For those, the majority, who enjoy my prose, this Bud is for You!

Chili. Everyone on the planet likes chili in one form or the other. It could be chicken, beef, lamb, rabbit, I have even had fish chili. The chili we are serving is being prepared by our guest chef, Professor Pat. It is a Texas-style meat chili with all the fixins'. I have sampled this chili, with a homemade root beer and it was other-worldly good. Imagine if you will, a planet that serves only chili. A civilization that has perfected the craft of making chili. Suppose they call this planet Texas. Well, that is the kind of chili we are serving today. There is a limited supply so come early. Here is the best part...It comes with a salad, corn bread and and iced tea for $3.95. If you want the Texas-sized bowl, it is $5.95.

Here is the rest of our menu and our new prices - all menu items come with French fries or a salad.
