Assisting people in Amazonia

A fun, little shop and gallery, a few blocks from San Sebastián Plaza.

Paul runs the place and can tell you about the marvelous products that have been created by some of the tribal groups from the Ecuadorian Amazon region.

The shop and gallery have everything from beautiful, ceramic bowls, magnificently woven baskets, locally sourced ingredients put into soaps, face creams, anti-aging serum, 100% pure essential oils, jewelry, microbrews, chocolate and more with modest prices.

"When you purchase products of Nunkui, you are contributing to the conservation of natural resources, the biodiversity of the Amazon, and to the sustainable development of the largest rainforest in the world." from their website

Paul said that after traveling to one area of the Amazon, that it is an 8 hour walk to one of the villages that creates the beautiful baskets.
