Recommendation for Arabic Cocina, traditional / healthy foods

It is my pleasure to recommend Arabic Cocina restaurant that just recently opened on Av. Ordoñez Lasso.

The owner, Khalid Mahmood, his wife Saba and their nephew Mohammad are very welcoming and we became friends immediately.

Saba was a GP in Pakistan and she is providing daily customized healthy meals for my husband and I who have opposite problems. I need to lose weight and my husband has a blood disorder and needs to gain weight. Saba prepares three meals a day for us and tweaks her recipes to suit our tastes. We follow her exercise and home snack instructions and check in with her every morning with our weight progress.

Attached is a photo of their restaurant and some pics that I took of some of our favorite meals there.

They serve breakfast (healthy blueberry and yogurt or strawberry/yogurt/honey pancakes are fantastic), American food, Thai food (my husband likes their Pad Thai and broccoli chicken with noodles), Chinese, and Asian food (shawarmas, biryani dishes, etc.), and fruit smoothies.

They are open Monday-Sunday 9 AM – 10 PM. Delivery is available and they speak English/Spanish/Urdu.

Address: Av. Ordoñez Lasso, about a half block West of Av. de los Cerezos, Cuenca
