EAT is closing

Dear Everyone,

It pains me deeply to break the news to you that EAT will be closing its doors. Our last day will be October 3rd. Although we can't out-rule popping up somewhere in the future, our run at our current location is over. We struggled to soldier on through the strike and now the pandemic, but we simply can't do it any longer.

I want to offer a deeply heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful customers and supporters. You have shown us so much love in the 2 years we've been open, and all of us at EAT are grateful to you for it. I look forward to seeing many of you in other settings in the future.

There is a bright spot in all this, and that is that our chef, Narsisa, will be keeping the EAT torch aflame, by retaining phone number, and is available to cook any EAT (and other) foods that you have grown to love and may miss in your culinary routine. Having guests and want to serve meatloaf? Call Narsisa. Want a Buddha bowl buffet for a healthy, socially distanced gathering on the terrace? Call Narsisa. Macaroni and cheese with shrimp for whatever reason because it's just the best thing ever? Narsisa!!

Just call her on the EAT number which is on the facebook page and she'll be overjoyed to make you some of the award winning EAT food that you can't get at the restaurant after the 3rd.

In conclusion, It has been a pleasure and a blessing to have had the opportunity to create and take part in this great restaurant and to work with and serve so many wonderful people along the way.

Thank you again, for your part in making EAT a restaurant that I hope will live in hearts and minds for some time to cone.

Stay safe and EAT well!

Matthew Blau
