The Cuenca Symphony Orchestra inaugurates its Conference Room

The Cuenca Symphony Orchestra opens its cycle of conferences via digital means. This initiative of our instrumentalist Xavier Mora Sánchez, violinist of our institution, contributes to the musical training of professionals in the area who during these difficult times can find in this space an opportunity to exchange knowledge with world-class musicians who have decided to participate in this program. We are convinced that it is an opportunity to listen to the teachings of these great pedagogues and professional musicians and thus motivate colleagues and stakeholders in the area about this world of academic symphonic music.

In previous exhibitions, several guests have already participated such as: the renowned Juan González (Venezuela), current violinist with the BBC Concert Orchestra in London; Maestro Camilo Acosta (Venezuela), an internationally recognized violin teacher; Alejandro Carreño (Venezuela), currently violinist at the Berlin Philharmonic, and guest of the Vienna Philharmonic and former Concertino of the Simón Bolívar Orchestra of Venezuela; Francisco Vila, Ecuadorian cellist, incredible world-renowned musician; Pablo Stredel (Venezuela), violinist of the highest level, among others.
