New cribbage group

Cribbage Social Group (CSG) is a new group for cribbage players or anyone who would like to learn to play.

We will be meeting at Cafe de Museo on Tuesdays from 2 PM to 5 PM. The first meeting will be on Tuesday, 11 August. We will be seated in the outside area where heaters are provided and there is plenty of room for social distancing. Wearing masks and gloves while not eating/drinking is desired. Unlike other cribbage groups, we do not “police” our players and do not refuse to allow them to “chat” while playing. CSG encourages people to interact with each other and help those who want help with strategy, counting, and general tips. We believe our players deserve the dignity of not being treated like little children. It is not a tournament, it is not a competition, and score keeping is optional. And, it is not only for retired and experienced players. We welcome players of all ages. It is a great way to meet new people and make friends. There are a limited number of cribbage boards and decks available so if possible, please bring your own. Feel free to stay after you play and chat with other players.

Unlike other groups, there is no membership required and approval is not needed by a “leader.” Our main focus is to have fun playing cribbage and meet new people. Again, all are welcome even if you do not want to play. If you are interested or have any questions, please feel free to contact Susan at cribbagepr@gmail.com. We look forward to seeing you there!

Tuesdays from 2 PM to 5 PM, beginning 11 August, Paseo 3 de Noviembre at the Crespo Toral Remigio House Museum, Cuenca.
