Professional photographer offering educational photo safaris

Hello GringoPost readers,

The pandemic has added 4 unexpected (but very enjoyable) months to my work trip to Ecuador and I'd like to share something special with you while earning some support for the extra rent I've had to come up with in a time of no income.

I'm a professional photographer ( ) and educator based in western Colorado currently on day 123 into Andean isolation. I was a Peace Corps volunteer in southern Ecuador from 2006-2008 and never imagined my return visit would be so dramatically extended. To help us reconnect with beauty and wonder in an unusually stressful time in history, get moving outside in a healthy way, and share skills that can provide a lifetime of enjoyment, I am excited to offer educational custom photography adventures in the Cuenca area. Whether you take snapshots with your smartphone or like to wake up before dawn and lug a massive pro-level DSLR up a hill for sunrise, I can help you learn to create better images. You can move beyond the green (auto) mode on your camera and gain a world of new artistic opportunities - I can help.

We will head to spectacular local sights and learn about composition, lighting, and the exposure triangle. For advanced students we can also cover digital photo editing software- you will learn to go way beyond "filters" and get into actually pursuing your own artistic vision.

Safaris for individuals and couples available. Discounts for groups of 3 or more - get your friends together and save!
