Pet care during quarantine

La Mia Mascota Veterinary and Pet Shop offers these suggestions to help you to continue good practices for the health and safety of your pet during quarantine:

 1. Before you go out to buy groceries, remember to check the food for your pet and purchase it before you run out.
 2. When you return to your house, don't touch your pets until you have washed your hands. Don't let them lick your face. Be careful they don’t jump on furniture until you have washed their paws carefully.
 3. Continue providing physical activity. If you can't take your pet out, play with it in the house. During quarantine you should never go out to play or run in the park or the street.
 4. During the quarantine you can go out so your pet can take care of its needs but only one member of the family should walk the dog. It should not be taken on long walks - stay near the house.

If you have questions or concerns about your pet's health, don't hesitate to call us - we have delivery service for products from the pet shop and veterinary service by appointment until 19:00.
