Bernan’s has a full pantry again

During the last month we have been scrambling to get new lids to fit the jars that we use for canning. We managed to keep the pantry fairly full of most of your favorite items. Things were starting to look grim. Then last week we contacted our jar and lid supplier, they told us that they are working shorter hours but once they had a full truckload, they would be able to ship an order to Cuenca… We ordered the jars that they had in their stock, some are the same and some are little different shape, but still the size we needed… We were so grateful because we knew we could make them work!
So now our stock is pretty normal in our pantry. We can also make most “special” orders and process them for you.

Bernie is now delivering on Mondays and Fridays with Emilio. Emilio keeps his taxi sanitized and we couldn’t feel safer having him to help us during this past month. We have reduced our minimum for free delivery to $25 and will be leaving it there indefinitely.

Bernie and I hope that you are staying safe and healthy during our lock down. It’s so important to follow the guidelines and keep your home sanitized. I don’t get out much (maybe just downstairs to deliver an order to someone picking it up) but every time Bernie goes out, I spray him with a disinfectant before he comes back in. It’s also a job to completely sanitize the kitchen, but it’s something that must be done and what else do I have to do right? If we are all careful, we will get through this.
Stay safe and we will see you soon.
