Indulge Boutique Cafe specials

These are the menu options for this week, March 5, 6 and 7. Each of the entrees is $6.

Thursday – Chicken Scaloppini – Chicken breast sautéed in white wine, brandy,
lemon, capers and green onions and served over a bed of pasta

Friday – Shrimp Abruzzi – Sautéed shrimp with porcini mushrooms, onion,
heavy cream and arugula served with pasta

Saturday – Panzerotti – ground beef and ground pork wrapped in phyllo dough,
served with a cool fusilli pasta salad.

We invite you to join our mailing list. Please send us your email address by private message or email so we may send you our weekly menu.

Our hours are what you make them, through your reservations. We will post the dishes each week. Our bottled Mescolanza, Pesto Sauce and Mescolanza Cookbook are now available for sale in the café.

We will be taking reservations for Thursday thru Saturday Noon to 6 PM. Reservations will be necessary because space is limited. You may email us at the address listed below or telephone us.

Many of our customers have wondered how we have been able to deliver our quality sandwiches for $4 and make a profit.

We buy the best meats, cheeses and fresh bread at a cost of $5 per sandwich. This does not include overhead costs such as rent, electricity, water, labor, etc.

A couple of customers have mentioned that we must do it as a labor of love because we cannot possibly be making any money.

The fact is we lose $4 for every sandwich we deliver.

Our intention was never to profit by what we provided; however, we didn’t expect to take money from our pocket.

This is why we changed our format into “reservations only” and providing only specials.

We do not choose to reduce the quality or the content of our sandwiches; therefore, we are sorry to announce that we can no longer provide them.

P.S. In jest, we think that breaking even is good … losing money sucks.
