Global presidential primary

Democrats Abroad, the official arm of the Democratic Party for voters living abroad, holds our own primary and sends delegates to the Democratic Convention.

As a member of Democrats Abroad Ecuador, you will can vote in our global presidential primary (GPP).

Why should you participate in the GPP instead of voting in your state’s presidential primary?

Your vote counts. In fact, you could even say that votes in the GPP count even more. Tens of thousands of people will participate in the global primary, but millions will vote in your home state. That means that your vote in the Global Presidential Primary is more powerful than voting in your state’s primary. In fact, it’s 4 times more powerful.

If you are already a member of Democrats Abroad Ecuador, you should have received a ballot in your email. If you are not a member, you can join at www. democratsabroad.org/join.

We will be holding our primary in Cuenca this Thursday where you can vote in person. And yes, your vote will count.

Thursday, March 5th from 4 to 7 PM, Free, Republica Sur, Presidente Cordova 5-55 Entre Hermano Miguel Y Mariano Cueva,, Cuenca.
