Ruta G, from the field to the table. In Ruta G we offer you a novel and fun way to celebrate the month of love and friendship: “From the field to the table”. An experience that will connect us with the earth, in which we will discover the pleasure of cultivating it and the luxury of bringing fresh organic food to our table, all this from the hand of the guardians of an ancestral knowledge.

Experience life in an organic farm and learn how to cook delicious healthy food.

Meeting point: Parque de la Madre, corner of 12 de Abril and Federico Malo

9 AM: Meeting in Parque de la Madre and transfer by bus

9:45 AM: Arrival at an organic farm in Sustag. We will visit an orchard of medicinal plants and learn about their properties and their uses. Welcome drink based on these plants while enjoying the beautiful landscape.

10:30 AM: Visit to the second organic farm. We will learn about the agroecological processes and we will participate in the harvest of some of the products that are grown there.

11:45 AM: Visit to a farmer's house. Here, chef Daniel Contreras (Dos Sucres restaurant) will offer us a cooking class with the harvested products.

1 PM: Lunch with delicious fresh organic food by chef Daniel Contreras.

3:30 PM: Arrival in Cuenca

Price: $50 (Includes transportation, farm tickets, drinks, cooking class, notebooks, recipes, lunch and professional guidance)
