Guided hike with your canine friend - February 9th.

Guide Fredy Ordoñez and I are planning a dog hike on Sunday, February 9th. This hike, just outside of Cuenca, is for folks who would like to spend some quality time in the great outdoors with their canine family member. We have room for 7 people and 7 dogs as we will be chartering a small bus for the day.

The first part of the hike will be very easy, mostly flat with nice elevations, perfect for walking or running with dogs, and with views of Cuenca and surrounding mountains. We will hike downhill via an old path to Domay and then take a dirt road to hike up and downhill to Jacarín and La Dolorosa; nothing too strenuous, about 6 miles (anytime you need to finish hiking before I will help you with mixto or options to come back to Cuenca).

And a video from the trek:

We will finish with a nice country lunch in the area, likely at Killary Lodge. Departure time t.b.d., but will be in the morning with a late afternoon return, after lunch.

These are the costs:

$30 per person to cover the guide fee and transportation.
Lunch will cost a maximum of $15 each person.
