I'll be at Sabatino’s this Saturday, February 1st up until 12:30. Come by to say hello and try some samples. Even better, buy some goodies.
I'm pleased to announce I'll be selling personal care products by Melody of Plants. The purpose of Melody of Plants is to reverse the damage humans are causing to the environment and themselves. From what I've seen so far, I believe their products are all-natural, safe and effective. Many are far superior to commercially available products. Hence, we get top value for our dollar buying and using these products.

In a nutshell, their philosophy re. the environment and business is much the same as my own, and I think we'll be a good fit.

Come by the Feria at Sabatino’s tomorrow to see and sample some of the awesome Melody of Plants products, including their awesome natural yogurt.

I’ll have my first two soups for you to taste, and I’m told they’re both hits:
Apple – Butternut Squash
Roasted Sweet Onion and Tomato
My gourmet dessert offerings are:
Nanaimo Bars: $16 for 16 pre-cut triangular bars
Brownies with walnuts: $8 introductory price. On February 1st it will go to the regular price of $9.50.
Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting: $9 introductory price. On February 1st it will go to the regular price of $10.50
The Brownies and Carrot Cake have 8 pre-cut square pieces and come as a frozen “slab”.
Nanaimo Bars are a very special Canadian 3-level chocolaty dessert with walnuts and coconut. If you like chocolate and sweet, I almost guarantee you’ll love these. I sell them by the slab (16 pre-cut triangular bars), frozen. I’m currently making 2 variations of my Nanaimo Bars: Mom’s original recipe (sweeter, "Canadian"), and a second "American" that has ½ the icing layer (so, less sweet). Order what you prefer according to your taste.
Sealed up and frozen, the bars last for at least 3 months in the freezer, and a few weeks in the fridge.
Delivery is by bicycle and is $2 for the center of town; $2.50 further out. For orders of more than $25, you’ll get 2 more Nanaimo Bars for free ($3 retail value).
If you want to know more about my offerings, see pictures and recommendations, or have any questions, go to my Facebook page: Defy for Life. You can copy and paste the address from here:
Navigate from the left side of the page to About, Offers and other tabs to get all the details about what exactly Nanaimo Bars are, who I am, what I’m doing, and why I’m doing it.
Cut off for each week’s orders is 5 PM on Saturday. Delivery on the following Saturday afternoon. If Saturday delivery doesn’t work for you, we can make arrangements for you to pick them up. Send me an email at to make your order.
