“A true stylish afternoon, at a Cuenca Tea Time Experience”

In a beautiful and cozy apartment where you can enjoy the view of the emblematic Tomebamba River, I will open my door to get you experience Cuenca’s hospitality atmosphere, and you’ll be greeted with warm Ecuadorian music as you come into my home.

Upon arrival, we will introduce ourselves in order to get to know each other, while we sit in the living room drinking a welcoming and refreshing Naranjilla Juice, with delicious Empanadas de Viento.

Afterwards in my kitchen, allow me to teach you how to make thick and spicy “Chocolate a la Taza”, and we will continue our afternoon at the dining room where the table is already set for us to enjoy delicacies such as, Chumales, Quesadillas, Roscas, Roscónes, Cocadas de panela, Cocadas de Azúcar, Bocadillos de Maní, Huevos de Faldiquera, Delicados, a selection of Tipical Cuenca Bread, homemade pineapple & blackberry-strawberry jams, nata, Guayusa Tea, Café Pasado, and the Chocolate we just made... all this served in a hand painted tea service, hand painted napkins, and handmade lace and tapestry from this part of my country.

At the ending of our experience (you won’t leave my home still hungry, that’s guaranteed) I will give you the printed history of Traditional Cuenca Bread, as well as de “Chocolate a la Taza” recipe we prepared together.

Hopefully, I’ll be seeing you soon.
