Today is Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving celebrated by nonprofits, corporations, and donors that encourages people to do good work in their communities. Today, Hearts of Gold invites you to celebrate Giving Tuesday and participate in our new campaign, All Children Deserve to Dream.

In Ecuador, dreaming is a privilege. Some children do not know when their next hot meal is going to be. Others study by candlelight, and many more lack the medicine they need to make it through the day. Often times, nonprofits become a home away from home for these children. We are honored to work with 5 excellent organizations that are serving 350+ vulnerable youth, covering their basic needs and giving them the chance to have a dream. Now, we want to show these children that dreams do come true, and we need your help to fulfill each one of them.

Here are some examples of what your donations can provide:

$30 will help a child explore their dream profession

$50 will allow a child to live their dream of visiting the beach for the first time

$200 will sponsor a child's participation in an extracurricular activity for an entire school year

Today only, your donations can have a larger impact. GlobalGiving is promoting Giving Tuesday by providing over $500,000 in incentives for organizations that raise money on the platform during the 24 hours of December 3rd. To donate to this campaign, please visit Global Giving dot org and search for All Children Deserve to Dream. Click on the campaign link and then click donate.

There are hundreds of children in our network who face difficult realities every day. Thanks to your support, Hearts of Gold can not only bring hot meals, education, and medicine for these kids, but we can help them to fulfill their dreams. As a result, these children will gain ambition, inspiration and strength.

Over the next several weeks, we will share stories that help you get to know the children we serve and what their dreams are. But first, we hope you join us in supporting these kids and investing in their futures.

Thanks for your generosity! Together, we are the change.
