The Cuenca English Lions Club meeting....today!

The next meeting of your Cuenca English Lions Club will be held today, Monday, 2 December, from 12:30 until 2 PM at La Parrillada restaurant in Cuenca.

We are proud to announce that our guest speaker for this month will be Cuenca resident and passionate entrepreneur extraordinaire, Jamie Raitan, founder and President of the company, Pearth (Peace on Earth).

Through the utilization of handmade artisanal products created by indigenous craft persons, it is the goal of Pearth to achieve a number of major objectives: The preservation of indigenous art, history and culture; the improvement of the economic standard of the indigenous community; the preservation the Ecuadorian environment; as well as to give back to those less fortunate within our community…inspiring goals indeed.

Come and listen to this most important and interesting presentation. And, please consider becoming a member of the Cuenca English Lions Club, whose goal is to assist those less fortunate in this great city in the fields of Vision, Diabetes, Hunger and Education.

The meeting as always is free, and if you wish to order a fine almuerzo from La Parrillada, please plan to come at 11:30 AM when our meeting room becomes available for eating and socializing.

Thank you.

Today, December 2nd from 12:30 to 2 PM, free, Remigio Tamariz Crespo 2-25, Cuenca.
