Recommendation for Bodhi Burgers, restaurant

We went to Bodhi burgers for the burgers, but we'll be back again and again for the milkshakes and fries. The chocolate milkshake was the best I've had in Cuenca; maybe the best ever. Velvety, chocolatey heaven.

And if you like thin crispy fries, this is the place to get them. Fresh cut, fresh fried and delicious.

Now the burgers. Not only does Bodhi Burgers have great burgers, they come in sizes from 2 oz. to 6 oz. to suit all appetites. I don't like a lot of meat on my burger, so the 2 oz. was perfect for me. Chicken and veggie burgers are also available.

They are on Mariscal Sucre, past San Sebastian park, about half way down the hill before Simon Bolivar, but they also deliver! (Google maps seems to show them on the far east side of Sucre, but don't believe it.) This is an expat family run business and the people behind the counter and cash were warm and friendly. English and Spanish speaking.

Address: Mariscal Sucre 17-80 y Miguel Heredia, Cuenca.
