First Annual Free Bridge Tournament

We are very pleased to invite all bridge players to the First Annual Free Bridge Tournament at the Cuenca Bridge Club. Bring a partner, or come solo and we will provide you with a partner.

The club will open at 1:30 on Saturday, October 26, for a "low key" meet and greet, with free food, snacks and beverages; and play will begin at 2 (lasting until 5:30 or so). All levels of players will be participating, so you are sure to feel welcome. Members of the Ecuadorian Bridge Club will be joining us, and it is certain to be a fun afternoon.

The top three pairs will be awarded prizes:
1st Place: A $25 gift certificate from Loaves and Fish, and 2 months free play at the club.
2nd Place: 2 months free play at the club.
3rd Place: 1 month free play at the club.

Since this is our first tournament we are not exactly sure what level of participation to expect; with that being said, and since space is limited, if you are considering coming please let us know so we can reserve a space for you (and have enough food and beverages). And be sure to invite all of your fellow bridge players, and perhaps make a party of it. And for all of you adrift bridge players (you know, the ones that played in college because it beat studying, or was that just me?), this is the perfect opportunity to visit the club. To reserve your place, email us at CuencaBridgeTournament@gmail.com; or you can contact Peter at pedroadler17@gmail.com

The Cuenca Bridge Club has a unique blend of social/duplicate bridge, perfect for all levels of play. Partners can be provided, and various levels of lessons are regularly available. Your first game is free, and on top of that you will meet some of the nicest (and fun) people in Cuenca. The regularly scheduled games are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12:45 to 4:30 PM.

Reginaldo Arizaga 2-56 y Ricardo Darquea Grande, Puertas Del Sol, Cuenca. Saturday, October 26 from 1:30-5:30 PM
