Open studio and introduction to printmaking at our new studio

We are offering ongoing printmaking workshops for beginners and artists with printmaking backgrounds. The studio will comfortably function with a maximum of 5 people. Kaulitz Press is complete printmaking studio. It is designed to present an in-depth look at printmaking (etching, woodcut, lithography and screen printing)) and offers the tools and abilities to work in any of the 5 printmaking areas. Some drawing and design skills are needed to enroll.

Because of limited language skills, all lessons will be taught in English.

Garry Kaulitz is a master printmaker, retired professor emeritus of Art University of Alaska Anchorage, where he was chair of the printmaking department and also taught drawing and painting. Among other honors, he was the recipient of the 2014 Rasmuson Distinguished Artist Award and has exhibited his work extensively in the United States and internationally and has work in many institutions and museums worldwide.
