Have a spare room?

Most of you heard the story of Esperanza and Maritza on Cuenca High Life, who came from Venezula. Martiza, who is 69 years old, uses a wheel chair. Through our cooperation with Casa del Migrante, we were asked to help out this family. They have been staying with us for the past month, however we currently only have only one room that is wheelchair accessible. At the end of this month, that room will be used for children with disabilities and we need to find a new location for Maritza.

We are working on a long-term solution for them, however we need a little more time. We are asking if maybe someone in the community has a spare room they can let them use for the month of October while we continue working on a solution for them. If you would like to meet them, or discuss this with me, I am available most days at our building on Juan Montalvo 8-18 and Mariscal Sucre.
