An Irishman, an American, and a Canadian went to Cuenca…

The Irishman missed the food (along with the Guinness of course!) that he had become accustomed to. He was tired with the lack of variety, value for money, Almuerzos with kilos of rice piled on a plate with wafer thin, so-called chicken or beef and of course the inconsistency in so many establishments he frequented in Cuenca.

So, he bought a restaurant – Los Parrilleros (the Grillers). He has had the restaurant for nearly a year and half, in that time he and the team have worked tirelessly to create a place that ticks all the boxes.

It has taken this long for the Irishman to be proud of Los Parrilleros and announce that the standards, food quality, service and atmosphere is that of what many of you are accustomed to in North America and Europe.

So, please come and visit us, our Lunch menus are both delicious and creative and only cost $3.50 for a 3-course lunch, Monday to Friday ($4 on weekends).

In addition to our great lunches, we have a fanatic menu of grilled pork, beef and chicken – oh and our selection of burgers is quite special too – we have a unique one called the WingBurger – the tallest burger in Ecuador, if you finish it you receive a free beer!

We always have different promotions running each week and you should view the offers on our Facebook page.

Offers include 3 bottles of Club for $5, Becks $6 or maybe you prefer the Stella Artois 3 for $7. By the way the cocktails are a little tasty too, we have created a special one called the Tranvia (well worth the wait, but one too many and you will crash)

We also offer a ¼ lb burger with awesome fries and a beer for only $4.99 too.

But, it’s not just about the food at Los Parrilleros, we have board games every day, remember 4 in a row, Trouble, Ludo, Dominos, Checkers and Darts (yes a real dartboard – try your hand a win something every day if you hit the Bull’s eye.) – it’s all informal and relaxed. It's a great place to relax, play, socialize, unwind, let off some steam, choose your own music, share a cocktail of if you want have a private business meeting, etc.

So come on down, check us out, have a chat, and if it’s not all what we say – then you get your money back – Guaranteed.

So what happened to the American and Canadian? Well, they let the Irishman do all the hard work and continued to enjoy their retirement
