400 years of Kepler's - 'The Harmony of the World'

Lecture: Celebrating 400 years of The Harmony of the World by the revolutionary astronomer Johannes Kepler in the light of Modern Astronomy.

Hartmut Warm, an engineer by training, has lectured on music and studied the history of the harmony of the spheres and planetary astronomy for many years. This lecture will present Kepler’s main ideas on harmonies and geometries of planetary movement in a manner accessible to non-experts.

Hartmut will then present his own research using modern mathematics and astronomy that confirm Kepler’s idea that a profound harmony embraces the solar system in which we live.
