Looking for volunteers for our Andean indigenous community

We are constantly looking to fill our beautiful volunteer house with those willing to teach English to the children and adults of the local indigenous community.

Where? Salasaca, Ecuador (near Ambato)

When? Start any time with no minimum term required. Weekends are free if you wish to explore Ecuador but you are also welcome to stay.

Accommodation & food: Volunteers all live and cook together using food from the local market, in a great house with many bedrooms and bathrooms. The house has gorgeous volcano views.

How much? Volunteers only need to contribute a nominal $30/week to cover accommodation (including wifi and hot water) as well as all food for the week.

As this is a local grassroots initiative, volunteers are welcome to help out wherever they can; e.g. supporting the local museum, tutoring, gardening, or anything else! If interested, as I don't believe I am allowed to post a link, please Google us (Sky Katitawa) to see our website with videos, photos and blogs of current volunteers, or contact us via our phone number.

Many thanks,

Micaela from SKY Katitawa: 0059 398 981 5377. Call after: 10 AM.

City: Ambato
