Foundation Hogar de Esperanza is moving and growing

Foundation Hogar de Esperanza is moving to the corner of Mariscal Sucre and Juan Montalvo. This building is jointly owned by the Catholic Church and Mesenjeros de Paz. The Church is donating their portion of the building and we will pay a small rent to Mesenjeros de Paz for their portion. Thanks to this donation by the Church, we will see our monthly rent reduced by 50% from what we currently pay. The rent we will pay will go directly to support an orphanage run by Mesenjeros de Paz.

Esperanza Thrift Shop will re-open at our new location on Monday, July 22nd and MINKA will re-open by September 1st. The foundation office and house will move the first few weeks of August. With over 20 rooms, we will finally have lots of space for our clients.

Foundation Hogar de Esperanza has come a long way in three years and we are proud of the strong relationships and respect we have earned with Ecuadorian organizations. This donation by the Catholic Church is greatly appreciated and as one of the most influential organizations in Cuenca, we are grateful for their confidence in Foundation Hogar de Esperanza.
