Cuenca Soup Kitchen - our store is back

The "Store" at the Cuenca Soup Kitchen collects gently used clothes and housewares and makes them available free to the Venezuelans and working poor Ecuadorians who frequent our Soup Kitchen. The store had to relocate but we are now once again serving those in need here in Cuenca.

Bob Higgins will be at Nucallacta Cafe in the Otorongo Plaza on Friday, August 2 from 10 AM - noon to gratefully accept your donations of clothes, bedding, housewares, shoes, toys, etc. They will be brought to our "Store" and each family we serve gets a $35 voucher to get what they need for themselves and their families.

It is "winter" here and although we are grateful for all donations we especially need warm clothes, blankets, jackets, sweaters... Please consider going through your closet and donating to those in need.

Nucallacta Cafe, Otorongo Plaza. Friday, August 2 from 10 AM – noon.
