Art exhibition by Catalina Carrascos at CVA Gallery

Catalina´s artwork constantly evolves. Her proposal is showing through her art; small things of daily life.

She has found inspiration in the classic books of William Shakespeare, Jules Verne, and the Bible. She also is fascinated by the magical realism and the artistic senseless that the artists Remedios Varo and Leonora Carrington use. Sources of inspiration have been poem books, fantasy movies, and the surrounding nature where she has her home, nowadays.

Catalina expresses through the act of sharing her creations a give back process with the universe of what she is constantly receiving. This feedback will only end when she stops expressing herself with colors and shapes.

Don`t miss the opportunity to visit and appreciate all the wonderful details of her artwork.

May 10th, from 1 to 6 PM, free, Calle Larga 3-82 and Vargas Machuca, Cuenca.
