Abuela’s Arepas, authentic Venezuelan favorit, now in Cuenca

Arepas (Spanish ah-re-pah) are a staple of family meals in Colombia and in border regions we come from in Venezuela. Arepas have been eaten since pre-Colombian times, and our family’s recipe has been passed down from mother to daughter for generations.

Arepas are flat, round, corn meal, savory unleavened patties made with only 5 ingredients; crispy on the outside and tender doughy on the inside. Perfect for weekend meals. As a breakfast sandwich with ham and eggs, lunch or dinner with beef or chicken, or as an “anytime snack” stuffed with anything you like. They also make a unique appetizer for your next party or gathering.

Like all quality baked goods, Arepas are best eaten 1 or 2 days after baking. That’s why we’ll deliver them fresh directly to your home. In packages of 6, $15 includes free delivery. Please call today to order at +593 099 812 0521 or email us at yehobeg@gmail.com. If you’re coming to Tutto Matto’s Grande Feria, this Saturday 5/18/19 (from 9:30 AM - 2 PM, Solano 851 y Alfonso Moreno Mora), we’ll be there to give you a free sample. We know you’ll love this authentic Venezuelan favorite.
