Gel plate printmaking workshop at idiomART!

Create beautiful fine art prints without a printing press.

Instructor: Scott McDonald

In this playful, low tech 2-day printmaking workshop you will learn how to make beautiful mono-types with inexpensive materials. You’ll learn how to apply color and texture, develop your images with stencils, stamping and drawing. Perfect for scrapbookers, card makers, and artists of all levels.
No experience necessary.

About the instructor . . .

Alaska born artist, Scott McDonald, has been creating emotive, iconic artworks for Alaskan galleries for over 20 years. His mixed media works have found their way into many homes and collections. He and his wife Ashley split time between their cabin in Homer, Alaska and their home in Anchorage, Alaska. They are spending this year in Cuenca. Scott teaches elementary art (a big influence), and has two young children (a bigger influence).

The cost is $50 for the 2 days
($40 + $10 for gel plates and basic materials*)
