Exhibition of Paintings at Miguel Illescas Gallery

"Reflections" is an exhibition of paintings by two women artists. The show opened March 8 in commemoration of International Women's Day and will continue through April 8.

The show presents the works of two women artists living in Cuenca.

Maité Eusebio, originally from Peru, and now many years in Cuenca, paints the still life and landscape in an exuberance of color. In this show, you will see some of her new works of bold and beautiful landscapes, both pastoral and Amazonian.

Janda Grove, originally from the U.S., works mostly with figures, both real and imagined, using various palettes, sometimes subtle, sometimes strong. Some of the works in the show are representational, and some are images of dreams or ideas. Women and their mysterious, spiritual connection are the subjects of these works.

The Miguel Illescas Gallery is open Monday to Friday, from 10 AM – 7 PM.
Open Saturdays, from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Through April 8, Free, Calle Larga 1-209 y Miguel Ángel Estrella, Cuenca.
