Cuenca's best award-winning BBQ 201- Saturday at Joes' Secret Garden

Need a break from the kitchen? Enjoy the best BBQ dinner in Cuenca - award winning ribs voted by GringoPost readers.

It takes a long time to create our ribs. Low and slow, boldly seasoned, carefully smoked for long hours and finished over hardwood coals with Memphis mop sauce and finally with a shiny, slightly sweet and spicy house-made BBQ sauce.

Start the evening in the garden with a cocktail or wine and our famous 'onion rings'. Dinner includes ribs, pulled pork and our specially seasoned sausages, cole slaw, garlic and herb roasted potatoes, sweet corn bread, ending with 'old fashioned' peach cobbler - a reminder of summer at home.

It's real "BBQ" ... no "oven steamed" ribs here.
