Recommendation for Harsha Hari Nair, nurse

Hello, I've had the good fortune to be cared for by a terrific bilingual registered nurse during the last 4 months I was in Cuenca. Her name is Harsha. Not only is she a licensed Registered Nurse, she also gives counseling and her talented skills opened many critical appointments quickly with some of the best medical specialists in Cuenca. They all know and love her, that was immediately apparent after just a few minutes with these physicians.

She’s worked and cared for from 14 to 93 years old. Her critical care skills range from stroke patients like myself, infectious diseases, internal medicine, psychiatric patients and elder care. Counseling and teaching family members certain tasks they can do for their loved ones is very important to her. My spouse was in New York my whole time here and she kept giving them constant updates and answering questions to make them feel knowledgeable, feeling attached to me via constant communication and it made the world of differences to me and my spouse.

I’m currently applying for my residence visa here and expect to return the first week of March. My family will join me in May for three months and get to meet and thank Harsha. She came to my home very day, sent me medication reminders through WhatsApp and kept my spirits up knowing she was a phone call away.

One of her long term patients had to return to the States so She is now available to accept multiple cases, the days and time make no difference as she met me at the hospital after midnight three times, I’m talking about 3 AM, to make sure my medical history and medication list was known to the ER Doctors caring for me. She is very kind, patient and generous with her knowledge and care.

I most certainly recommend Harsha as I have a very complicated nervous system disease and during an appointment with a specialist that didn’t really understand my condition, she found quickly one who would. Besides being on time, she managed to become bilingual fluently and speaks four different languages and dialects. She came to me with stellar references and is a strong empathic advocate for both patient and family members.
