Rural journey

Are you here about Sidcay? This is a special country side community located just 40 minutes away from Cuenca, and for the very first time, the locals want to open the doors of their houses to share their traditions and culture. This is part of a program called Cerros Ancestrales run by the municipality of the city and we prepared a special itinerary for this amazing experience, which includes a snack. Harvest that moment for the kitchen garden, walks around the pre-Inca remains, lunch prepared in a special traditional kitchen (no gas), using wood for fire and with organic local ingredients. Also, we can learn more about the Panama hat weavers and finish the day making bread in a traditional wooden oven. This is going to be full of fun. The visit is on Sunday, 16 of December, maximum 15 people. Don’t lose the opportunity to know more about Cuenca and its beautiful people. The journey starts in San Sebasti├ín Park at 8 AM and comes back to the same place around 4:30 PM, Included are the English speaking guide, private transportation, snack in the morning, full lunch, snack in the afternoon. The price is $50 per person and the money goes to developing the idea of tourism in this community. Don’t lose this chance Send your confirmation to
