Want to be an American football referee? Want to know the rules better?

The Liga Ecuadoriano de Futbol Americano (The Ecuadoran League of American Football) is holding a multi-day clinic on the NCAA Rules for Football. If you would like to become a certified Referee for games in this or the National League, this class will be the first clinic offered by a certified official and will lead to taking the exam for certification.

The class is tentatively scheduled for 11/19, 11/21, 11/23 and 1210, 12/12 and 12/14, from noon to 3 PM, at the University of Cuenca. The exact location is yet to be determined, but will be announced prior to the first class. You will be responsible for printing your own copy of the NCAA rules and the Manual of Football Officiating, both are required for this course. Each is approximately 200 pages in length, so have plenty of paper available. The only other requisites for this class are a couple of pencils, scratch paper and a strong desire to be part of this exploding sport.

The cost for this clinic will be $40 per attendee, to help defray the setup costs for this program. This session of the clinic will be in English, however we may have some non-English speakers, but the emphasis of the class will be in English.
