Reminder of Tuesday´s investor meeting

Hogar de Esperanza is grateful for the feedback received over the past few weeks about our future plans. Based on the information received and consultations with various agencies, we have finalized our plans.

In order to support the work we do, Hogar de Esperanza currently pays $2,100 per month in rent. As we have to move the house from our current location, we are faced with increased rent for a new housing facility of an additional $1,000 per month. Hundreds of families, homeless youth and those dealing with critical illness depend on us for regular support. Foundations as large as ours normally have their own facilities that is normally gifted or donated. We do not have that luxury and increased rents could make our work unsustainable.

We have launched a fundraising campaign to purchase a building. In the interim, we are offering investors an opportunity to own a building with us in el Centro. The total cost of this building is $650,000. We expect to receive $300,000 in donations and the balance will be paid for by the issuance of 350 secured shares for $1,000 each through Esperanza Corporation who will be the building owner. The foundation will continue to pay rent at our current levels, however instead of paying a landlord we will pay the investors in the corporation. This will provide us with stability and for the investor, it will provide a safe investment with a good return.

If you are interested in investing, we will have a meeting Tuesday, Oct 9th, 10 AM at Minka, Gran Colombia 9-69 and Padre Aguirre. Please contact us if you plan to attend. We will serve a free light breakfast and coffee, Thank you for your support.
