Democrats Abroad extended ballot assistance

Due to the high level of interest in the upcoming mid-term elections, Democrats Abroad volunteers will be available two more times this week to help you vote in the US.

While registration has closed in a number of States, many States allow voting by email and/or fax. Whatever assistance you need, we will be happy to help you. As always, we are available to answer questions at info-ecuador@democratsabroad.org, but please let us know your voting State, as different regulations apply.

We will be able to accept last minute ballots and help you with voting by fax or email.

If you are lucky enough to be registered in: Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, South Carolina, Utah, Washington, or West Virginia, you can return your ballot by e-mail or (in some states) by online upload. Read the directions carefully.

If you are registered in: Alaska, California, Florida, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Rhode Island, your ballot may be returned by fax. If you do not have a fax machine available, save all your voting materials into one PDF file and use this cover sheet provided by the Department of Defense to e-mail your ballot. The cover sheet can be found here: www.fvap.gov/uploads/FVAP/Forms/coversheet.pdf , and then the ballot can be e-mailed to fax@fvap.gov. Your ballot will be forwarded to your County officials.
