Art Show at CVA, and "meet the artist" on Saturdays

CVA -- Cuenca Visual Arts Gallery -- is exhibiting works by two expat women artists, plus 4 CVA member artists. This month's showings include a wonderful variety of works, both beautiful and thought provoking.

Janda Grove is an oil painter working primarily with figures, both real and imagined. She is showing a group of original works entitled "Passages" as well as newly created collagraph and monoprints. Janda will be at the gallery on Saturdays during October to meet you and talk about art.

CVA is pleased to also have a showing of Linda Wooten-Green’s recent paintings. This body of her work will be lovely florals and landscapes which she transforms into a combination of both abstract and painterly expressions.

Also showing are other CVA Member Artists: painter Maité Eusebio, printmaker and painter Garry Kaulitz, painter Boris Ordoñez, and painter and instructor Alberto Soriano.

Wed. - Saturday, from 1 PM to 6 PM through Oct. 27, Free, Calle Larga 3-82 y Vargas Machuca in the Santa Canela Building, Cuenca.
