Tuesday Writing Critique Group

The Tuesday Critique Group: Have you thought of attending a critique group but have not yet given it a try? Have you attended other critique groups in the past but felt disappointed with the process or feedback? Do you need a boost to get your writing really humming along? Join us Sept 25th, noon to 3 PM for The Tuesday Critique Group. We meet every second and fourth Tuesday of the month. Please bring up to 1500 words to share and make six copies to share during your reading. These are returned to you with comments at the end of reading. Or you may read your work at future meetings and come to observe the process and share in the friendly vibe of this group. Giving feedback to other authors is as important as receiving suggestions. We follow the Critique Guidelines outlined on the CuencaWritingOurWorld webpage archives. This month, we are meeting at the second/newer location of ñucallacta, at Otorongo Plaza, in the room upstairs, near Coffee Club Spanish. We are a group of about 5-10 writers, all genres, all abilities, with several published authors among the group. The format was designed to allow us to expand as interest dictates. We welcome you to join us. Cuenca has a marvelous writing community. Please check out this resource to see if it is a helpful fit for you. This coming Tuesday Sept 25 is dedicated to giving some feedback for a project underway to create helpful stories for young children. If you are part of the HerbFairy Project, feel welcome to come read what you have, get a few suggestions, since we are all feeling our way with this assignment. Questions? Contact Sharon McIntosh: note new time, 12 - 3 PM and new location: Otorongo Plaza, new Ñucallacta coffee house. Find us upstairs.
