Recommendation for Yasu House, restaurant

If you love creative, delicious food, you must dine at Yasu's House. Yasu is a trained, professional, inquisitive chef. He is from Japan but, lived all over Asia as well as, New York. He was drawn to South America because of the kind people and fresh ingredients. And, I am so grateful he is here. Yasu is a surprising chef. He uses fresh ingredients and he changes his menu every week. He has fed me chicken liver pate topped with beets but, also, French onion soup or, pea and green apple foam with dehydrated crackers and/or egg whites. Every meal is $18. You can bring wine. He serves water flat and sparkling. We are so lucky to have a chef of this caliber in Cuenca. He only serves meals Thursday to Saturday; lunch and dinner. He will fill up quickly so, call on Monday. I am from San Francisco. I have been to over 30 countries in the world. Chef Yasu is a great chef. You and I are lucky he is here.
