Older adults: strength training with Bob Kezer

Hi Cuencanos,

My greatest enjoyment in life has been helping people gain strength and endurance.

They become healthier and look, feel, and move better.

Many times their doctors have reduced or eliminated some of the medications they have to take.

We’re not talking about turning you into an athlete, exercise classes, or spending hours working out in some dark gym.

This is about improving your appearance and making your life easier and more enjoyable.

Things like looking better in a pair of jeans or t-shirt, carrying the groceries home without pain, and having more energy to play with your friends.

Your training will be effective, efficient, and research based. Sessions last between 30 – 50 minutes, 2 – 3 times a week.

This means you’ll spend less time with me in the gym, and more time out with friends enjoying a better looking and feeling body.

Our purpose is to help you regain the muscle and strength you’ve lost over the years, and lose the fat that’s accumulated instead.

Doing so will improve your health, bring shape and vitality back to your body, and allow you to easier meet life’s daily challenges.

But it gets even better.

The same training that makes your muscles stronger, also strengthens your tendons and ligaments, increases your bone mass density, and reduces your chance of falling or injury if you do.

And here’s the best news:

The more out of shape a person is when they start, the quicker and more dramatic the results they get.

For example, most adults new to training will increase their actual strength 2 – 4 times over a period of 6 – 12 weeks.

In very meaningful terms a bag of groceries, a flight of stairs, or getting off of the floor gets a lot easier to manage in a very short time.

The facility we use is new, clean, affordable, and open for you 7 days a week for yoga, aerobics, and other activities.
