Have you been to La Calderada?

Chapter One.

In 1990, the grandmother, Isabel Pérez Cereceda, opened La Calderada, in the beautiful and romantic sea side town of Manglaralto, Santa Elena. She created her own recipes, bringing the Mediterranean to Ecuador. Even the late great food critic, Anthony Bourdain ate at La Calderada and was full of praise. Grandmother Isabel is retired now and enjoying retirement in Manglaralto.
In May 2017, we brought La Calderada to Cuenca, introducing a unique Ecuadorian/Mediterranean fusion cuisine. Our aim is to provide the best, because we inherited the best and you deserve the best.
