To keep the community informed, here is a report on recent activities and events that Hearts of Gold and its volunteers are preparing for.

This week, on July 12th, Hearts of Gold is hosting an advanced series of workshops for our organizational partners and community members. Those that have completed Fundraising 101 and 102 are invited to partake in Advanced Fundraising Planning 201 and 202. Session 201 will occur on Thursday the 12th and 202 on Tuesday the 17th. This is an opportunity to further develop technical skills and strategies need to properly fundraising.

And most excitedly, we are preparing for Contra Reloj. On July 19th, Hearts of Gold is hosting a public workshop, in Spanish, at Quinta Lucrecia from 7 PM – 10 PM. Here you can be a part of workshops and dialogues led by experienced facilitators. The evening/event focuses on personal development with presentations in themes of self-care, nutrition, motivation, and stress management. You can also learn more about Mirame, Hearts of Gold’s women’s empowerment program. Tickets are $25. If you are interested in attending, please send us an email.
