Raffle, win a weekend for two in Canoa, support a local school

Enter to win in our first annual “Weekend in Paradise” raffle. For just $15 a ticket, participants will have the chance to win a weekend for two in beautiful Canoa, in northern Manabí! The winnings include two nights at Canoa Suites, two breakfasts, two lunches, two dinners, cocktails and ice cream at various popular establishments, including Surf Shak, Bambu, and Coco Loco. A total value of more than $200.

The raffle is to benefit the Los Algarrobos School, founded by retired former US Navy Seal James Dean Byrd. We serve over 100 students, boys and girls, offering English classes and a small but beautiful library. This year's raffle campaign is to support teacher's pay. We provide stable work to ten teachers, two administrators and a groundskeeper in a precarious tourist economy, ravaged by the 2016 earthquake. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year! We are counting on support from ex-pats from all over the country.

Please let me know if you can help in the sale of the raffle tickets. This raffle is designed specifically for people who live far from us, so we don't know lots of people out there! The school is so important to the health of our community! Please consider going the extra mile and helping us expand our network in Quito, Cuenca, Guayaquil, or Manta.
