Trekking: up and through Guaguazhumi’s Ridge, Fri and Sat

I am arranging a hike by the ridge on Guaguazhumi to Paccha for two dates: one on Friday, June 15th and another on Saturday, 16th. We will start with a breakfast before we take the bus. To get there to the starting point, we will take a bus to Baguanchi and then a transporte mixto.” We will walk up to the ridge first to the top, then we walk down, flat and up, less than 5 miles in total (three hours more or less). After that, we arrive to Paccha, where we can take a rest and come back to Cuenca on a bus.

Difficulty is medium, in some parts you will need to use your hands, more difficult than other hikes I usually arrange; in the other hand, you will see very nice landscapes with mountains in the background like El Tablón, Cojitambo, or Cuenca city.

You will spend about $5 on transportation (buses and mixtos), $10 for my fee and food will depend on what you order.

Let me know if you come with us and what day do you take.

June 15th or 16th, from 8 AM to 3 PM, $15, Parque de la Madre, Cuenca.
