Take a famous author to lunch

Are you a lover of books and movies? Ever had lunch with a famous author? Want to? Now you can… Check out this unprecedented opportunity to take a best-selling author to lunch.

Mark Sullivan is the acclaimed author of eighteen novels that have been translated into dozens of languages, and graced national and international bestseller lists. In 2011, Mark began working with legendary thriller author James Patterson. Since then they have written five #1 New York Times bestsellers including Private Paris, Private L.A., and Private Berlin.

Mark’s exciting, taut thriller Beneath a Scarlet Sky, is soon to be an epic film event from Pascal Pictures, starring Tom Holland (Peter Parker in the Spiderman franchise). It tells the true story of a young Italian man’s efforts to thwart the Nazis.

Mark, the keynote speaker at this year’s Cuenca International Writer’s Conference, has agreed to have two of his lunch times auctioned off for a good cause. Sponsors are The Foundation for Literature of the Americas, a non-profit whose mission is to build literary bridges between the writers and readers of the Americas. This year’s goal is to expose more Spanish-speaking writers to international readers through self-publishing.

Treat yourself to this one-time opportunity to spice up your almuerzo with a dash of fame and donate to a good cause at the same time. “How did you feel the first time your book went to #1 on the best-seller list?” “What do you think of the casting of Tom Holland (Spiderman) to star in the film adaptation of your book?” “What’s it like to work with James Patterson?” (Yes, you can go there.)

This event is open to anyone in Cuenca who loves books and would like to pick the brain of a highly successful author. You do not need to attend the writers conference to participate in the auction.

Take Mark to lunch on Monday, May 28th or Wednesday, May 30th between noon and 2 PM by bidding today…
