Recommendation for Orlando Siguenza, tour guide

We had read about Orlando on TripAdvisor and liked what we saw, so contacted him to see if he could guide us. We started with a tour to el Cajas, and we were so impressed with his knowledge, excellent English, prompt communication, patience and understanding, we used him again...and again.
The tour to El Cajas was brilliant. We had a wonderful walk round the lake, with Orlando pointing out the flora and fauna, and giving us the history of the area. There was no pressure to hurry, we just had a relaxing and interesting stroll. We then enjoyed the views from the heights of Tres Cruces before returning to another lake with amazing scenery, followed by lunch. (I have to say, this was the only disappointment - after a delicious soup, what should have been a hot meal was served cold).
Following the success of this trip, we commissioned Orlando to take us to the little Artisan villages around. Each one opened up new treasures for us, some of which were not even part of the plan, just artisans at work as we passed and decided to stop at. Chordeleg was my favorite - I could have spent hours window shopping here! We requested Hornado for lunch and Orlando obliged. The meal did not disappoint; such tender pork and delicious roast potatoes, not to mention the best crackling ever! Our 3rd trip was to Ingapirca where Orlando astounded us with his knowledge once again. On the way, we detoured to a beautiful Gothic church built into the cliffs, with spectacular views of the town and beyond. The history of Ingapirca has so much more than meets the eye, and Orlando enabled us to visualize the place as it was so long ago. After the tour, Orlando went out of his way to put us on the bus to Alausi so that our ongoing journey was stress-free. What a guy. Thank you so much, Orlando.
