Recommendation for O Dining Room, restaurant

Recommendation: Everything about O Dining Room is an event, and I am informing the gringo community, at large, that you do not want to miss this amazing jewel of a restaurant.

Coming from a restaurateur, this has to be the most unusual restaurant in the city, with Chef Felipe Cordero offering different daily 3, 5 and/or 7-course tasting menus (with or without wines), for carnivores and vegetarians, alike.

Vegetarian meals are available, and the chef will cook around any food allergy you might have.

The entire thing is an exciting mystery. Finding it. The phone call to have someone greet/retrieve you at the door; the walk to the courtyard; entering through the kitchen; greetings from the chef and the smells;  dining room with the open kitchen on one side, and the river on the other; the chef presenting each course, table-side.
Three-course tasting menu with paired wines for $25, five-course paired up for $35 and  seven-course paired up for $45.

Having a birthday? Anniversary? Special date? Entertaining guests? Just want to eat the best meal in this city (as I've done numerous times)? It is a go-to spot.

He also does private events on Sunday-Tuesday: graduations, birthdays, business/organization functions.

I'm heading to the guest chef event next Wednesday.
